Privacy at instantestimate.house

This page explains, in plain language, how we handle the limited personal information you share with us through this site.

What this site does

instantestimate.house is a simple marketing and contact site for an API-driven home value estimation service focused on Canada. The primary action on this site is submitting the contact form so we can follow up with you about a property, an integration, or both.

What we collect via the contact form

When you submit the contact form, we ask for:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your role (for example homeowner, buyer, agent, or potential API partner)
  • The location of the property (for example city and province)
  • An optional street address and a short message describing what you're looking for

We use this information only to understand your request and to respond to you. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

How submissions are stored

Contact form submissions are stored in a private Postgres database that is provisioned alongside this site on Vercel. The database is controlled by instantestimate.house and is not shared with unrelated third‑party services.

We keep submissions so that we can respond to you and understand ongoing interest in the service. If you need data deleted or corrected, you can resubmit the form with your request and we'll honour it.

Property and market data

The estimate itself is based on a mix of neighbourhood information, public records, city or provincial assessment data, and other publicly available property records where they are lawful to use. These sources relate to properties and markets, not to you individually.

We call out, wherever possible, when specific data points are estimates, when they are based on public records, and where information may be missing.

Questions

If you have questions about how we handle privacy, include them in your contact form submission and we'll address them directly.
